Ranging from the Independent Leagues to Triple-A Minor League Affiliates, hundreds of teams take the field during the cool nights of the spring, the humid nights of late summer, and the glory filled nights of fall. Through countless innings and cheers, players dream of the “Bigs” and play with a passion that resonates through every pitch and crack of the bat. Homegrown & local baseball truly defines the game as it is viewed within American culture as the nation’s greatest pastime.

The mission of Grassroot Baseball will be to highlight this aspect of baseball as it has been the lifeblood for the sport’s continued growth and success.
